Ideally positioned for guests travelling from both near or far, it is located just 45 minutes from Central London by train, 20 minutes from Brighton by car and 15 minutes from Gatwick airport. Picture having your blessing by the lakeside, toasting marshmallows with your friends under starry skies, walking through the whimsical woods for your wedding portraits or sipping cocktails whilst taking in the spellbinding views.

The Wild Garden offers ample space for up to 200 guests and the choice of structure to house your celebrations is entirely yours – giant Nordic tipis, luxury stretch or pole tents, traditional or clear roof marquees to name a few.

We have carefully curated an extensive list of the event industry’s leading suppliers to help bring your particular vision to life, and are always on hand to help with expert recommendations and guidance along the way. The Wild Garden is a rare destination and we’d love to invite you to come and discover it for yourselves, contact us to make an appointment.

We also have a birds eye view of The Wild Garden, with drone footage of the estate, and a helpful map that highlights the key features of the The Wild Garden, including where clients typically position their marquees and other structures.

The garden and space

The enchanting hidden gem that is The Wild Garden was meticulously designed in the 1920’s by Colonel and Mrs Warren and has been carefully maintained through the generations of the Warren family ever since.  The majestic trees are now hundreds of years old and are guardians of this secluded space whilst the abundant mature flora and fauna add a rainbow of colour and change whatever the season.  Protecting this unique setting and its habitat is the reason The Wild Garden only hosts a limited number of events each year.

© Chris Giles Photography “We could not have hoped for a better venue for our wedding. Not only is The Wild Garden heart stoppingly beautiful but there is also a total blank canvas to allow you to do exactly what you want for your day. We really felt this allowed us to have a totally unique and very special wedding that we wouldn't have had the freedom to pull off anywhere else.” Alex and Isolde © Benjamin Wetherall Photography “The Wild Garden at The Hyde Estate is a truly breath-taking venue. We held our wedding reception there and had the most wonderful day with family and friends. Everyone commented on the beautiful views across the two lakes, which formed the enchanting backdrop to our marquee wedding.” Toby & Lara © Foto Memories Photography “We held our blessing and wedding reception at The Hyde Estate and it is simply the most stunning place. Beautiful surroundings from the lakes, wild gardens to the surrounding woodlands. A real hidden gem!” Charlotte and Patrick
